Blu Olive Greek Kitchen

We had the best dinner at Blu Olive! Our teenage kids loved their open lamb souvlakis and the adults enjoyed a generous size sharing platter. The staff were great and the owner was full of knowledge and super friendly. The atmosphere is awesome. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

First time we visited Blu Olive for my Dads bday, we went for lunch, it was absolutely amazing. Loved everything;from the decor, the aromas, service to the food, was all fantastic. Was recommended by a past customer who enjoyed it and l can understand why. It's now my parents favourite restaurant!

This is an amazing authentic local Greek restaurant / taverna. I would usually goto oakleigh and even then chances of it being this good are 50/50. Chips cooked to perfection with amazing herbs. Tzatziki from the gods and all the charcol slow cooked meats you need to complete this amazing meal Pro tip: Saginaki and white bait make for amazing starters. We will be back and so should you. Ordered the Open Souvlaki and calamari meze. When I went to the store for pick up I had to stay for 5-10 minutes as it was not ready. They gave me a complimentary dessert because of it. I wasn't fussed waiting 10 minutes but I thought that was a nice business gesture.Moving on to food positives were tasted good, calamari was cooked perfectly, chips were really good. If the calamari had some cracked pepper would have added a nice flavour balance. Overall will go back.

Best Souvlaki in the area!Picked up 2 Souvas and chippies for lunch. It came to a total of 40.50.Restaurant is trendy. Place is super clean, organised. Service was friendly and helpful also super quick.Now to the food. Chips were cooked nicely with beautiful rosemary throughout. Souva ingredients spot on, nice salad and garlic sauce with what felt like a nice thick homemade tortilla. Lamb stole my heart. Juicy suculent, full of greek flavour.Good value for money. I will be back when I want myself a taste of greece. 9/10. Great job team!

The place was packed on a Sunday night. All large groups of people. Plus people ordering take away and Uber/menulog drivers coming and going.We got two Blu Olive mix grill platters to share between 6 of us and it was ample food, with even some for leftovers.Everything was super delicious. I don’t normally like pork but the pork skewers were really good and tasty.We also got a beef moussaka which tasted exactly how I’d expect it too.The Mykonos blu cocktail didn’t taste like alcohol but packed a punch.This was my first time here but my mum and her husband have been 4 times in 4 weeks so it’s definitely a family favourite now.Was so full by the end but had to have a bit of galaktobouriko to finish off.
